Customer care
Returns & exchanges
A clear guide to change-of-mind requests, product issues and the items that cannot be returned for hygiene or perishability reasons.
Your legal rights
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If an item has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. For a minor problem, we may provide another appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy available to you under law.
Change of mind — jewellery
For eligible jewellery, we accept a change-of-mind return request made within 14 days of delivery. The item must be unworn, unused, undamaged and returned with its original presentation and any included components.
Return postage for an eligible change-of-mind return is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend tracked postage. Original delivery charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns.
Excluded change-of-mind items
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges for:
- pierced earrings and other hygiene-sensitive products;
- cakes, desserts, chocolates or other perishable food;
- personalised, customised or made-to-order items;
- items marked final sale before purchase; or
- products that show wear, damage, alteration or missing presentation.
These exclusions do not apply where an item fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders
Contact @breadandbracelet with your order details and clear photographs. We may ask to assess the product before confirming the remedy.
Where the product does not meet a consumer guarantee, we will provide the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law and reimburse reasonable return costs where required.
How to request a return
- Message us before sending anything back.
- Provide your order details, reason for the request and photographs where relevant.
- Wait for return instructions and the correct return destination.
- Package the item securely and retain tracking until the request is complete.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Financial institutions may take additional time to display the funds.
